The DIN plug gets it's name from the Deutches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization) or DIN for short, that standarized this range of plugs.

DIN 5/180 pin

There are many different DIN plus available today. The plugs differ in size and number of pins. Please check which type of cable you need for your device.

These cables are fitted with a 5/180° plug (see image). This is the most common used type for analog audio and video. You can also use this cable to connect your MIDI equipment.
